1: It's when, after a lot o struggles with a Person, after all the reassurance, the understanding, the love, the promises you've been giving they still choose to hurt you, telling you they are ready when they are not despite your promise to wait until it's sure. 🙂

Or when you can't figure out what color to paint your room so you just leave it how it is. Giving up is quitting and not trying anymore.

1: Slang for sweatpants, and other scummy clothes. They are dubbed so because when you wear sweatpants you have given up on your life, and fashion, for the day.

1: Giving up is no longer following through on an action.

  * e.g.,  ... He was giving up after getting so far.

1: Sweatpants, when you have no plans for physical activities.
